About Liberty Platinum
Liberty Platinum is the white glove division of Liberty Moving and Storage. Founded in 1939 by Michael Federico in Jamaica, NY, Liberty Moving offered local residents an honest and reliable company to handle the stressful process of moving. Now in its third generation, the company has evolved to become one of the largest full service moving, warehousing and logistics companies in the tri-sate area.
The Liberty Platinum Division was born in 2001 out of the growing need for a reliable white glove moving, storage and logistics partner for interior designers and high-end furniture companies. This type of clientele requires a detailed skillset of inventory management, project planning and high end delivery/installation. Our warehouses, team members and resources are tailored to meet this need.
The Liberty Platinum principals are based on the understanding that every moving and storage project we handle is unique. Success and longevity in the white glove moving industry is strongly correlated to a commitment to honesty, integrity, and reliability. No tricks. No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Team members are continuously trained on analyzing the nuances of each project and delivering a personalized solution.
We have developed a client base that includes hundreds of interior design firms, kitchen cabinetry companies, furniture showrooms and medical equipment manufacturers. To serve our local clientele, we built a state of the art 90,000 square foot facility in 2009. We acquired another facility in Wayne, NJ and just recently added an additional 40,000 square foot facility on Long Island. We’re committed to expanding our infrastructure in the future to not only grow our business exponentially, but meet the increasing needs of our exclusive clientele.
